Artifacts Found on the PCC Gravity Railroad

These are pictures of artifacts that have been found on the gravity railroad over the past few years. A few items have yet to be identified. Several sections of strap rail were found which was the original rails of the gravity. Recently artifacts of the system that brought water from the twin lakes to the engine houses were found. Trees were cut down and the logs were cut into sections and drilled to make a wooden pipe. Iron couplers with bands were used to make the connections. This system was buried in the ground and the water flowed to the stationary steam engines by gravity only.
