Just off the road (which was the old alignment) you can see these retaining walls.
Here is a panoramic shot of the walls. It appears locomotives would climb up
behind these walls as you can make out the grade and the area between
the walls would have held a set of tracks. You can also see how it was once a switchback.
Here is another panoramic shot. I think this would be the area of the old Coalport Yard.

The dotted yellow line was how the line originally ran through the tunnel. The solid yellow line is now a road used for access to the state park and the start of the Lehigh Gorge rail-trail. The red line is a double tracked active railroad. One track is owned by the Reading & Northern (and also the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway) The other track is owned by Norfolk Southern.
